Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the rose 0.36% to hit a new 1-month high.

The best performers of the session on the were Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 10.00% or 19.20 points to trade at 211.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:) added 9.98% or 18.40 points to end at 202.80 and Filing & Packing Materials Co. (TADAWUL:) was up 5.63% or 2.25 points to 42.25 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:), which fell 8.33% or 2.10 points to trade at 23.10 at the close. Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 4.52% or 1.45 points to end at 30.60 and Methanol Chemicals Company (TADAWUL:) was down 4.28% or 1.45 points to 32.45.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 159 to 75 and 13 ended unchanged.

Shares in Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:) fell to all time lows; falling 8.33% or 2.10 to 23.10.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.84% or 0.70 to $84.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $91.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.57% or 25.70 to trade at $1,662.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.88% to 3.71, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.88% at 111.82.
