Information about specific charges and claims against Binn’s ex-wife appearing in the initial version have been removed. Also removed: background information on Jason Binn’s ex-wife, quotes from Binn, and a quote from Binn’s attorney. The corrected press release is below:
NEW YORK CITY, NY / ACCESSWIRE / September 15, 2022 / Magazine publisher Jason Binn has been cleared of forcible touching charges after Manhattan prosecutors found “insufficient evidence” he groped an unidentified teenage relative.
The 54-year-old publisher of DuJour Medi was arrested in June after being accused of grabbing a 16-year-old girl’s rear end in February.
The case against Jason Binn was dropped and tossed out by Judge Michael Gaffey.
In addition, the district attorney’s office investigated the Binns, and stated “the accuser had insufficient evidence to prove the forcible touching charge without the complaining witness,” the DA’s office said.
After the reversal, Binn stated earlier in the week that he’s happy this ordeal had been a “nightmare” that he wouldn’t wish on anyone else.
